EGBA poll: Michel Barnier favourite to become EU Commission President

Between November 2018 – June 2019, EGBA conducted a poll of POLITICO.eu readers to find out who they think will be the next President of the European Commission. And…*drum roll*… the results are now in.

With interest in the race for the EU’s top job beginning to reach fever pitch, the poll broke Politico.eu’s record for the number of poll votes – with over 19,000 votes cast. The final results are:

Whoever the new President will be, they are sure to have a busy term – and EGBA is one of the many industry bodies who are looking towards the new Commission to improve their sector’s rulebook.
