[Webinar] Consumer protection and online gambling: an overview of the regulations in various EU countries

The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) invites you to join us on 3 November for an online presentation of the consumer protection regulations for online gambling in EU countries. Dr Margaret Carran of City, University of London will present the initial findings of a soon-to-be published update to Dr Carran’s 2018 study “Consumer Protection in EU Online Gambling Regulation”. The presentation will give insight into the similarities and differences of certain consumer protection aspects of online gambling between EU countries, including regulations for “Know-Your-Customer”, minor protection, safer gambling, treatment support, and enforcement. This webinar is organised by the EGBA as part of European Safer Gambling Week 2021.
