The publication of EGBA’s code of conduct on data protection last month marked the latest step in the industry’s attempts to get to grips with the EU’s complex data protection regulation. The new code establishes rules and best practices to strengthen data protection in the online gambling sector and is one of Europe’s first-ever sector-specific initiatives to support compliance with the GDPR.
